My Journey
My name is Opor. I’m originally from Laos and have been living in the United States for nearly ten years. Food has always been my way of staying connected to home—my culture, my family, and my roots. I learned to cook by watching and helping in the kitchen, where meals weren’t just food, but a way to bring people together. Every dish I prepare reflects the flavors I grew up with, made fresh and with intention, just as it would be back home.
